Conditions of purchase

Once you have clicked on the button to Confirm Order you have offered to buy the items at the price indicated on the website, including any delivery charges that apply to your purchase. If your order is accepted, you will be notified of this soon after you have clicked on & ldquo Confirm Order& rdquo by automatic email. Despite our best efforts to ensure that all order details are correct at the time of the confirmation email, errors may occur and we therefore reserve the right to cancel where the order details prove to be incorrect.  You will own the items we supply you from the moment they are delivered to the delivery  address given to us on your order.   These terms and conditions cannot be varied by you or us unless made in writing and signed by both parties.

Delivery and P& P

Postage and packing for all orders is calculated on the weight and size of the order and charged at the actual cost of postage plus a charge not to exceed  £ 1.50 for packaging.  Smaller orders are sent by Royal Mail and larger orders by courier.  We aim to send orders out within 3 working days. We will let you know by email if there is a delay for any reason within our control but  we cannot be held responsible for delays occuring once an order has left our premises.

Overseas Orders

We can  deliver to most countries outside the UK.    Postage and packing are calculated on the weight and size of the order and charged at the actual cost of postage or delivery plus a charge not to exceed £ 1.50 for packaging.     

Security

As Twice is predominantly an internet-based business it is very important to us that we offer our customers the highest level of security. For this reason we have opted to work with a payment partner, SagePay, so that we can offer the most advanced software available to encrypt your credit/debit card details. For added security, we do not store your credit card details.

Payment and prices

All prices are shown in Sterling  and include any relevant VAT charges but do not include postage and packing charges. The total cost of each order will be shown before you agree to make a payment. Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown are correct. In the unlikely event of an error being made, we reserve the right to cancel the order at any time prior to delivery. We accept payment by Visa, Solo, MasterCard, Delta, Electron and Maestro, through our online payment partner, SagePay (the new name for Protx). Payment will be deducted at the time of ordering. You can also pay by credit or debit card over the telephone by phoning 01738 860066.       

Refunds and cancellations:

You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery.    To do this, please email us at info@twiceonline.co.uk or write to us at Twice, Inchyra House, Glencarse, Perth PH2 7LU.    If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense.    You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.  If you fail to reutnr the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection.    If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.      Payments for workshop places are only refundable at our discretion and are not refundable within 21 days of the date of the relevant workshop.  This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.   

Privacy

We will only use the information provided by you through our website in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. This data will enable us to process your order both at Twice and take payment through our payment partner,  Protx,  and to inform you of other Twice products and news. You will be given the opportunity, through our website, to opt not to receive any further news or product information from Twice.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of information that is stored on your computer's hard drive by your web browser. Cookies are used on our website to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket while ordering, to help us recognise you if you shop with us again and, anonymously, to assist us in monitoring our business. Usually you can alter your browser settings to prevent automatic acceptance of cookies. We do not disclose customer information to third parties.

Descriptions and colours

Every effort is made to ensure that our descriptions are accurate and that colour reproduction is as close as possible to the original, however, colours may vary according to the settings of your monitor, software or printer and we cannot be held liable for any discrepancies with the actual item purchased.  Further, every effort is  made to ensure that the details we give of the vintage content of our products  are correct, however,  we cannot be held liable for including  incorrect details supplied to us by a third party.  For the purposes of this website, " vintage" is used to describe any materials that to the best of our knowledge were manufactured pre-1985.    Wherever possible we  endeavour to date items to within 10 years.  Details of country of origin will, wherever possible, refer to the country of manufacture, but may also refer to the country where the materials  were originally used.

Indemnity

You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, Twice and www.twiceonline.co.uk,   www.thetwiceshop.co.uk and www.thetwiceshop.com and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of these terms and conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this website, or the use by any other person accessing the website using your shopping account and/or your personal information.
